Zoofetti — Privacy Policy
Zoofetti is a match-3 puzzle game. This policy describes what information the game handles, why, and how you can delete it. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, leaderboards, and friend features — and nothing is ever sold.
What we collect
- Account: your username and display name, and a securely hashed password. Your username is visible to other players (leaderboards, friend search). If you sign in with Google, we store your Google account identifier (subject ID), the name Google provides, and a username derived from your email address — never your Google password, and we do not store your email address itself.
- Gameplay: weekly best scores, game level, lives/hearts, friend relationships, and collection/achievement progress — this is what leaderboards, friend lists, and the animal collection run on.
- Approximate region: a continent (e.g. “Oceania”) derived from your IP address, used only for the continental leaderboards. The IP address itself is not stored with your account; like most web services, our servers keep short-lived standard connection logs.
- Advertising: optional rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob. Because Zoofetti is for all ages, these ads are non-personalized — chosen from the app's context, not from tracking you or an advertising profile (see Google’s privacy policy). Watching an ad is always your choice.
What we don’t collect
- No real name, address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- No selling or renting of data to anyone, ever.
Where it lives, and for how long
Account data is stored on our server (hosted in DigitalOcean’s Sydney region) and kept only while your account exists. Deleting your account permanently removes your account row, scores, friendships, hearts, and collection progress — there is no retention copy.

Children & families
Zoofetti is a family-friendly game suitable for all ages. We keep children's privacy in mind for every player: we collect only a self-chosen username and gameplay data (never a real name, contacts, or precise location), and any ads shown are non-personalized — they are chosen from the app's context only, never by tracking a player or building an advertising profile. If you are a parent and would like your child's account deleted, use either option in the “Deleting your account” section above or contact us.
